You should check some of your archives to find pictures of your ski lodge. Although most are not aware, your little rope tow hill was a popular site among the local kids for skiing. We couldn,t afford to go to Squaw all the time or its nearby Deer Park (located at the now entrance to Alpine Meadows). You were also within skiing distance to the kids from Tahoe City. Although the hill was not that difficult, it did provide pleasure and the rope tow was a lot better than climbing up to ski down. You could get a soda at the lodge and the juke box was wired to an outside speaker to give music while skiing the hill. I just though that you might want a little different perspective. Thank You. George........1956-1960.
