7 pm Gluttony Catering is proud to announce a new series of pop-up dinners with Chef Scott Boyd & The Renegade Grub Society. ?Save the Foie Gras?- A four part series from North Lake Tahoe to San Francisco highlighting and promoting FOIE GRAS before the California ban takes effect in July. Over the course of the next 8 months we will be pairing Foie Gras with local farms, Foie Gras producers, vineyards and other great chefs.

Your evening adventure starts with a moonlit ski from the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area to the trailside warming hut on Yellow trail where you will enjoy fireside Hot Mulled Wine and Hot Chocolate. The terrain is gentle, and the thrill of being the only skiers on the trail in the pine forest is breath taking. On your return you will see the warm glow of the Dinner Yurt. As you marvel at the beautiful setting, you'll hear the music from within the yurt and anticipate the hot meal that awaits. Amid laughter and live guitar music, your party will gather around the long candle-lit tables while enjoying the glow of our Norwegian wood stove. Your senses will never feel so alive as you take in the candlelight, the sounds of friends and family, the warmth of the fire and the taste of a full service dinner prepared by two of North Lake Tahoes finest chefs . When the meal is complete you are right within walking distance from your car. This is an evening you will talk about for years. Treat your family, friends or traveling companions to an unforgettable evening, in the Winter Discovery Yurt. Limited tickets are available at $65 per person. This great price includes your meal, a beverage, ski or snowshoe equipment and trail pass. This is an evening out for adults. 5pm During the 2 to 2.5 hour tour, guides will lead guests through a variety of trails and terrain. There will be 2 to 3 different routes ranging in difficulty and distance so you can chose the group you?re most comfortable with. After conquering the terrain you?ll return to the Cross Country Ski, Telemark & Snowshoe Center for some live acoustic music, s'mores and hot chocolate around one of our fire pits under the moonlight.
7:30am Northstar's award-winning corduroy and legendary tree skiing is some of the best in North America.Every Saturday through the end of the ski/snowboard season you can get first dibs on them when you sign up for First Tracks at Northstar (weather & conditions permitting). 11am - 2pm Two days a week skiers and riders can cruise Boreal with Woodward Tahoe Coach Brandon Hollins.Participants will meet at the Woodward Tent located in the base lodge. Ride with Woodward is free for park riders of all abilities(basic skiing and snowboarding skills required for park coaching)?all you need is a Boreal season pass or valid lift ticket.

5 pm Join the Tahoe Rim Trail Association for a gentle moonlit snowshoe trek to a lovely overlook of the Tahoe Meadows, Ophir Creek and the mountains to the east. We will also enjoy some hot cocoa to warm us after our evening stroll. If you are not a member, please consider joining the TRTA before registering for this hike. The event is free, but registration is required.

Summer

Free Sunday Evening Concerts – Late June through early September on Tahoe City's Commons Beach. Featuring local acts and regional artists. All ages welcome, picnics encouraged.

Thursdays' Farmers Market – California-certified farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more. Late May through mid-October, 8am-1pm at Tahoe City's Commons Beach.

Free Movies on the Beach – New releases and family classics on the big screen at Commons Beach. Wednesday evenings, June through August, weather permitting.

Summer Movie Series – New releases and family classics on the big screen in the Village at Squaw Valley Events Plaza. Thursday evenings, early July through August, weather permitting.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival – A longtime summer tradition at scenic Sand Harbor. Two productions full of laughter, love, scheming, scandal and dancing in the aisles.

Lake Tahoe Music Festival – Founded in 1982 and presenting six summer nights, over two and a half weeks, of Broadway and classical themes, well known Blues, Classic rock and Jazz.

Fourth of July Fireworks – Local donations and sponsorships fund this annual spectacle, starting at 9:30pm. Best views from Tahoe City's Commons Beach. (Come early.)

Fall

Annual Art Bark Fest – Animal art, wine tasting, animal-themed activities and free live music in the Village at Squaw Valley USA.

Tahoe City Harvest Festival – A week of fabulous family fun, featuring Scarecrows on Parade, Oktoberfest, a pumpkin patch...
