EveryThursday at 2:00 pm On this complimentary one-hour tour, you will learn about the unique architectural and design elements of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, the regions first and only AAA Five Diamond Hotel, and highlights of the more distinctive works of art throughout the resort.
Designed for intimate dinners of up eight guests, the Chef?s Table is a culinary journey featuring the French-inspired California cuisine of acclaimed chef, Traci Des Jardins. Guest?s will enjoy a private table adjacent to the exposition kitchen and personal interaction with the chef de cuisine, who will prepare a tasting menu reflecting the innovative offerings of Manzanita.

ALL DAY Squaw Valley comes alive in February with a week long kids extravaganza. Big trucks, street parties, balloon animals, skating parties and kids? concerts are just a few of the festivities for kids and families taking place during Squaw Valley?s Kid-O-Rama.

7pm Back in its 12th year, the Adventure Slide Show Series is where locals and athletes come together and tell stories of their incredible adventures in the mountains of the world. Many of these shows are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to meet and hear from incredible mountain loving athletes and travelers. This week features John Morrison. John shreds. Waves, singletrack, KT, Couloirs- pretty much anything. Last Year John skied from the highest possible point of all California's 14ers.
1pm Join us for our Family Afternoon Snowshoe Tours taking place at Northstar. Tours will begin at the Cross Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at 1:00 p.m. and will last approximately 3 hours, including rest breaks. Your friendly guide will lead you on a snowshoe adventure along some of our easier trails through scenic forests and alpine meadows. Tours will then return to the Cross Country Center for hot chocolate, cookies, and snow play.
3:30 - 6:30pm Two days a week skiers and riders can cruise Boreal with Woodward Tahoe Coach Brandon Hollins.Participants will meet at the Woodward Tent located in the base lodge. Ride with Woodward is free for park riders of all abilities(basic skiing and snowboarding skills required for park coaching)?all you need is a Boreal season pass or valid lift ticket.
10pm Reggae and Dancehall done right all night. Selections by DJ Treez and Dub Fyah. No Cover. Every Wednesday all winter.
9:30pm Bringing the bass like you've never seen. This event repeats weekly on Wednesdays.
9am-6pm The Rahlves' Banzai Tour 2012 Alpine Meadows Ski Resort Ski and Snowboard cross head to head action, 4 at a time on an open set course. From the top to the bottom over natural terrain and snow conditions. First to the bottom wins.
9pm The 2nd day of ?Snowlive? a 4 night event featuring one of the best Funk/Soul bands on the planet- Soulive,at the Crystal Bay Club Casino! The Theme is ?Hip-Hop? and our special headliner is Talib Kweli! 1/2 of ?BlackStar? with Mos Def, Talib is one of the most respected MC?s in the hip hop world today. We are honored to present his first apperence in Lake Tahoe.

All Day On February 25, TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine will once again host an amateur snowboarding contest at Northstar California as part of the TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAM Series - a six-stop tour hosted by the most progressive park resorts from coast to coast. The 2012 series will no doubt repeat as a melting pot for some of the best up and coming riders in the region.
9:00 pm - midnight Under the Radar plays live at Cutthroat's Saloon at the Hyatt.
4:30pm A kids? version of the Torchlight Parade with glow sticks for children 10 and under who can ski or ride unassisted in the dark on our Snowbird run. Come early to secure a spot in the parade and get glow sticks by playing our free carnival games. Music and snacks will be provided in the bar area prior to the parade.

3-day ski camp that will focus on developing the skills and tactics to negotiate the variety of terrain and conditions in the mountain playground. Coaching is provided by PSIA National & Regional Alpine Team members. The camp includes instruction, lift tickets and a group dinner.

New skills, new friends and a new effortless and efficient way of skiing/riding await all participants.

Spring

Snowfest – 10 fun-filled late winter/early spring days and nights at various North Tahoe locations on the snow and at the lake.

Earth Day Festival – Haute Trash fashion show, earth awareness and entertainment at the Village at Squaw Valley USA in mid-April.

Summer

Free Sunday Evening Concerts – Late June through early September on Tahoe City's Commons Beach. Featuring local acts and regional artists. All ages welcome, picnics encouraged.

Thursdays' Farmers Market – California-certified farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more. Late May through mid-October, 8am-1pm at Tahoe City's Commons Beach.

Free Movies on the Beach – New releases and family classics on the big screen at Commons Beach. Wednesday evenings, June through August, weather permitting.

Summer Movie Series – New releases and family classics on the big screen in the Village at Squaw Valley Events Plaza. Thursday evenings, early July through August, weather permitting.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival – A longtime summer tradition at scenic Sand Harbor. Two productions full of laughter, love, scheming, scandal and dancing in the aisles.

Lake Tahoe Music Festival – Founded in 1982 and presenting six summer nights, over two and a half weeks, of Broadway and classical themes, well known Blues, Classic rock and Jazz.

Fourth of July Fireworks – Local donations and sponsorships fund this annual spectacle, starting at 9:30pm. Best views from Tahoe City's Commons Beach. (Come early.)

Fall

Annual Art Bark Fest – Animal art, wine tasting, animal-themed activities and free live music in the Village at Squaw Valley USA.

Tahoe City Harvest Festival – A week of fabulous family fun, featuring Scarecrows on Parade, Oktoberfest, a pumpkin patch...
