Granlibakken offers outstanding European-style lodging, delicious dining and a choice of meeting rooms with plenty of electrical outlets and telephone connections with T1-line dataports.
Granlibakken provides an opportunity to meet and relax in a truly invigorating atmosphere. Granlibakken consists of 160 lodging rooms and 16 meeting rooms, with state-of-the-art audio visual amenities. Whether a large business conference or a small family reunion, Chef Ron Eber will tailor meals toward your group's palate - from a casual outdoor barbecue to a formal gala.
The Main Conference Center offers five conference rooms with 14,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and can accommodate groups as large as 400. The Executive Lodge is set apart from the rest of the resort with two more conference rooms, adding an additional 1,100 square feet of meeting space.
Accommodations are in our Main Conference Center, Executive Lodge and in privately-owned town homes. Suites are comprised of a studio with a kitchen, fireplace and two conventional beds or one king bed. Each room has private bath, TV, telephone and separate entrance. The town homes have 1-3 bedrooms each, with a telephone and private bath, and they share a common area comprised of kitchen, dining area and living room.
Team Building Exercises
A professional team-building resource, including a full ropes course on property, is available for your group or organization. Our program is operated by Tahoe Adventure Learning Institute (TALI). The spectacular Challenge Ropes Course is located high in the towering pine and cedar trees of Lake Tahoe. The invigorating adventure combines the power and beauty of natural outdoors settings with challenging team-building exercises to inspire and motivate your employees.

Granlibakken is a year-round facility. In the winter, we offer several midweek and weekend packages that include one adult lift ticket at Squaw Valley USA, Northstar at Tahoe, Alpine Meadows or Homewood Mountain Resort and one night of lodging at Granlibakken.
Granlibakken features a small ski hill, perfect for beginning through intermediate skiers and snowboarders, a rental shop, ski school and snack bar. For those that prefer cross country skiing and snowshoeing, our guests have access to miles of popular cross country trails and snowshoeing terrain. We also have a machine-worked snow play area with saucer rentals for children.
There is no shortage of fun during the warmer months. With miles of mountain bike and road bike trails, fishing, an abundance of golf courses within an hour of the resort, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, tennis and swimming - we guarantee that you'll have a great time no matter what time of the year you visit.
