  Lake Tahoe Cruises

Skiing and Snowboarding - Alpine Meadows, Homewood and Squaw Valley USA, which hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics, are all within 10 miles of Granlibakken, so it's easy to hit the slopes come winter.

Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing – Head to Tahoe Cross Country for a 65-kilometer trail system groomed for skate skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Mickey's Big Mack Charters – Catch a Tahoe trout, the Mackinaw, on Mickey's sport fishing boat! These underwater giants can weigh over 30 pounds.

Tahoe Gal – All aboard for sightseeing! This boat fits 149 passengers for scenic rides on Tahoe's famous waters. A great way to see Emerald Bay.

Tahoe Sailing Charters – For a more intimate on-water experience, join this crew and the wind for a sunset or sunny day cruise.

Tahoe City Golf Course – A nine-hole favorite of the "Rat Pack" in the '50s and popular with locals and visitors today. Sixth- and ninth-hole lake views.

Tahoe Yoga Institute – Don't forget to take care of your body while you're here with yoga, pilates and meditation classes at this studio.

West Shore Sports – This spot just a short drive down the West Shore of the lake has rentals for just about every Tahoe City activity in the book: biking, stand-up paddleboarding, skiing, snowshoeing and more.

Tahoe City Movies – The Cobblestone Cinema shows the latest flicks year-round, but don't miss movies on Commons Beach each Wednesday evenings in the summer.

Playground Equipment – A large, lakefront grass and sand area features swings, a mini rock wall and more at the four plus–acre Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City. Picnic area and restrooms available here, too.
