Visited by travelers from all over the world, the Lake Tahoe Flume Trail is carved into steep rock overlooking the lake. The historic trail dates back to the 1800s when water in wooden square-box flumes was delivered to Virginia City. The moderately challenging 14 mile one-way ride or hike includes 1000 ft elevation gain.

The trail spans between Tunnel Creek Road at the edge of Incline Village and Spooner Lake.
