Historic Stateline Fire Lookout

Gaze over the lake from the California/Nevada border at this historic fire lookout. The trek up the paved fire road is about 3/4  mile with 400ft elevation gain. The lookout was dismantled in 2002, but hikers can still enjoy an excellent south-facing view over Lake Tahoe and a small interpretive trail around the rim of the vista.
